JUNE CAMPOUT - Ichetucknee Springs
State Park - Tubing
June 25-26-27, 2010
The campout for June will be at Ichetucknee Springs State
Park in Ft. White, FL, near Gainesville. This park offers
some of the best tubing around. See the permission form for
complete details. Permission forms and money for this outing
are due by Monday, June 14, 2010. We will also accept forms
on Monday, June 21 due to the troop being at Camp Orr the
week of June 14.

2010 SUMMER CAMP INFORMATION
IS NOW AVAILABLE!
Troop 608 will be attending two summer camps in 2010: Camp
Orr, in Arkansas, from June 13-19, and Spanish Trail Scout
Reservation, our council camp, from July 4-10.
Summer camp deposits ($50 per scout
for Camp Orr and $25 per scout for Spanish Trail) are due
by Monday, January 25! Payment information is available in
the 2010 Summer Camp flyer. Even if you haven't made your
deposit yet, it is still not too late to sign up for summer
camp!

Gallery. We're getting it updated with pictures from 2009's
events. The latest additions include our two winter High Adventure
trips, OKPIK and SEA BASE! If you took photos of a troop event
and would like to share them on our website, please e-mail
them to webmaster@t608bsa.org
or you can always bring a CD or DVD, or even a memory stick/SD
card to a troop meeting and give to Mr. Verge, Mr. Kimmel,
or Mr. Matson.
BSA has recently released
a DVD with information on EARLY RANK REQUIREMENTS
supplemental to the Boy Scout Handbook. We will be making
copies of this DVD for all Scouts below First Class. These
videos may also be viewed on the scouting.org website using
the link below.
